Село Бељина налази се јужно од општинског центра Барајева, у долини реке Бељанице. Бељина спада међу најстарија насеља београдске околине, о чему непосредно сведоче археолошки налази из доба неолита, антике и средњег века. Континуални развој насеља може се пратити кроз писане изворе од XVI века до данас. Чаршија је формирана уз главну саобраћајницу у периоду прве половине XIX века.
Током дугог временског периода у Чаршији се наталожио и знатан број материјалних остатака значајних културно-историјских вредности: археолошка налазишта из доба неолита (старчевачка културна група), антике (налази из III века) и средњег века (налази из XV века); некропола са појединачним каменим споменицима од XV до XIX века; црква Св. Архангела из 1813-1819. године са иконостасом Димитрија Посниковића из 1849. године; стара породична кућа и механа Љубинковића, обе из средине XIX века, и други значајни историјски, етнографски и архитектонски споменици. |

| The village of Beljina is situated south of the community centre of Barajevo, in the valley of the river Beljanica. Beljina belongs to the oldest settlements of greater Belgrade and the fact is confirmed by archeological findings from the Neolithic age, antiquity and the Middle Ages. The continuous development of the settlement can be followed through written sources from the sixteenth century to the present day. The downtown grew along the main street in the first half of the nineteenth century, at the time of economic and political prosperity of the young Serbian state. During a prolonged period the downtown collected a number of material remains of important cultural-historic values –archeological sites from the Neolithic (the Starčevo cultural group), antiquity (findings from the third century) and Middle Ages (findings from the fifteenth century) – a necropolis with individual stone memorials from the fifteenth to the nineteenth century, the church of Saint Archangels from 1813-1819 with the iconostasis by Dimitrije Posniković (1849), the old house and the old tavern of the Ljubinković family, both from the mid-1900s and other important historic, ethnographic and architectural monuments. |
