The nineteenth issue of the journal Heritage was published ahead of the Book Fair in October 2018. The memory of the end of World War I was marked by a piece on the Monument of Gratitude to France, featured on the cover. The restoration of the monument was completed in 2018 according to the design by the Cultural Heritage Preservation Institute of Belgrade and the architect Zoran Tucić, funded by the governments of the Republic of France and the Republic of Serbia. The opening article titled “The French-Serbian Relations, History, and Memory – The Legacy of the First World War”, by Dr Stanislav Sretenović, scientific advisor at the Institute for Contemporary History, also looks at the First World War and the French-Serbian cultural and political relations through the memory landmarks in Belgrade.

The regular columns bring contributions dedicated to the architectural, urban planning-related, cultural, and social heritage of Belgrade, as well as the reviews of monographs, exhibitions, and conferences. The column Monumental Heritagefeaturesarticles on the analysis of the Hempro Building and the central areas of Novi Beograd and its residential blocks nos. 21, 22, and 23. The column Research features pieces concerned with the oeuvre of the architect Jovan Smederevac, the construction of three elementary schools in Belgrade in 1928, open competitions for the Belgrade City Museum, as well as the examination of the reconstruction of the Čukarica Municipality 1919–1929. The Conservation Approach column features an article on the restoration of the House of Mihajlo Petrović Alas. In the column Views and Opinions specialist pieces point to the issues of mobility and accessibility in historical towns, as well as of the visibility of public monuments in the City of Belgrade. The column Heritage and University Teaching provides a review of student works dealing with the examination of the possibility of preserving and revitalizing the Pantelić Foundry in Zemun.
